Hancock Biological Station (561 Emma Drive), N off end of Wolfson Drive; ca 13 map miles NE of Murray, accessed E off KY 94 on Couny Road 497 (= Lancaster Road) to Emma Drive, along W edge of Kentucky Lake; part of Murray State University. Dry ridgetop above lake, with Quercus stellata, Q. coccinea, Q. velutina, Q. alba, Q. rubra, Carya glabra, Ulmus alata. Large canopy tree ca 15 m tall, from lower branch. Lat. 3644'12"N Long. 887'1"W.
