    : United States: New York: Tompkins County. Shrub 7ft tall, common. Growing in a lake shore meadow in gravelly/sandy loam (probably dredged). Growing with Amorpha fruticosa, Apios americana, Apocynum cannabinum, Arctium majus, Artemisia vulgaris, Asclepias syriaca, Bidens frondosa, Brassica sp., Calystegia sepium, Cirsium arvense, Cornus amomum, Equisetum arvense, Impatiens capensis, Iris pseudacorus, Lythrum salicaria, Oenothera biennis, Phalaris arundinacea, Polygonum sp., Populus deltoides, Salix nigra, Solanum ducamara, Solidago canadensis, Taraxacum officinale, Vitis sp. & Xanthium strumarium. Along the south shore of Cayuga Lake, Cass Park, Ithaca, Tompkins Co. Elev. about 385ft. 42 27' 45.6"N, 76 31' 04.9"W. UTM 18 375195E, 4702260N (NAD83/WGS84).
