United States: Massachusetts: Middlesex County. Wide-branching herb 8ft tall, uncommon. Only branches have been collected from this plant. Growing in disturbed loamy soil (Merrimac - urban-land complex, 0-8% slopes; sandy, mixed, mesic Typic Dystrudepts), in a weedy, fenced yard for research plants (although this plant is wild here), with Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Chenopodium pumilio, Oenothera biennis, Phytolacca americana & Symphyotrichum pilosum.
