    : United States: Florida: Miami-Dade County. Palms with creeping stems, common, most not flowering right now, leaves blue-green, to 2.5ft. long (including petiole). Growing in open, rocky pinewoods/savanna on oolitic limestone (Cardsound-Rock outcrop complex, hypothermic Lithic Udorthents), with Anemia wrightii, Buchnera americana, Byrsonima lucida, Cassytha filiformis, Chiococca alba, Coccothrinax argentata, Crossopetalum ilicifolium (rare), Cynanchum blodgettii, Dipholis salicifolia, Eupatorium rotundifolium, Forestiera segregata, Guettarda elliptica, G. scabra, Metopium toxiferum, Myrica cerifera, Myrsine floridana, Passiflora suberosa, Pinus elliottii var. densa, Polygala boykinii, Pteridium aquilinum var. caudatum, Quercus virginiana, Randia aculeata, Rhynchosia reniformis, Sabal palmetto, Schinus terebinthifolius & Zamia pumila. Along the S. side of the entrance road to the J. Robert Dean Water Treatment Facility (SW 354th st), 0.15mi west of the intersection with SW 192nd Ave (Tower Road). Florida City, Miami-Dade Co. Elev. about 8ft. 25 26' 17.5"N, 80 30' 13.5"W. UTM 17 549896E 2813562N.
