S of the Indian River County line (less than 1 mile), between FL 713 (Kings Highway) and U.S. 1, S of the southernmost fork of their junctions; in marshy drainage; mosaic of basin marsh and wet prairie with fringe of wet flatwoods. Prairie associates: Polygala balduinii, P. ramosa, P. cruciata, Rhynchospora spp., Scleria spp., Ludwigia spp., Eleocharis spp., Fuirena, Panicum spp., Heliotropium, Utricularia cornuta, Fimbristylis. Roots with methyl salicylate (wintergreen) smell; flowers pale greenish yellow, except keel petal which is usually darker yellow. Lat. ca 27°32.7'N Long. 80°22.43'W.
