    : United States: Florida: Taylor County. W of Perry on U.S. 98, NW on Cabbage Grove Road (= Salt Road & Oakland Baptist Church Road) 3.55 miles, then 0.3 mile N and 0.8 mile E on public river access road; clearcut pine plantation (ex sandhill). Associates: Andropogon, Rhynchospora, Dichanthelium spp., Pteridium, Elephantopus, Aster tortifolius, Digitaria filiformis, Paspalum spp., Iva microcephala, Diodia teres, Pityopsis, Trichostema, Chamaecrista, Liatris. Flowers white. Lat. 3010'21.9"N Long. 8348'24.8"W. (NAD 27).
