United States: Florida: Lake County. just east of Clermont; 1.3-1.4 miles east of U.S. 27 on FL 50; 100'-600' north of road, north and west of radio tower. Sandhill remnant, canopy gone, but understory still nice in patches, intermixed with weedy patches (Eupatorium spp.); with Polanisia, Cyperus filiculmis, Paronychia, Selaginella arenicola, Polygonella fimbriata, Baptisia. Erect herb; flowers pinkish-purple. There is also a more pubescent form growing here. Lat. 28° 32.5'N Long. 81° 43.1'W.
