Suwannee River Water Management District land; Peacock Slough Tract; N of Mayo on FL 51 to Luraville, a little N of the Suwannee River, then E on 180th Street (Luraville Road), then S and a little E on gated access roads (property broken up by several sloughs, so there are several different access points by vehicle to avoid swimming when water is high), near northern boundary. Highly degraded sandhill (plantation in spots, logged a while back in others?). Associates: Pinus palustris, Quercus laevis, Q. margaretta, Q. falcata, Rubus cuneifolius, Croton michauxii, Toxicodendron pubescens, Vernonia angustifolia, Crotalaria rotundifolia, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Vaccinium stamineum, Callicarpa, Paronychia rugelii, P. baldwinii, Lechea spp., Eriogonum tomentosum.
