    : United States: Florida: Washington County. Old Mill Road, off FL 77, north of Wausau. Growing along sandy, unpaved road, scraped, with piles of sand on both sides of road. Disturbed pineland area. Pollinated by bees, also black robber bees active. Plants with pink and white corollas on different plants. Area of presumed hybridization with D. linearifolia var. robustior.
