    : United States: Florida: Highlands County. [...] Sand pine scrub and oak being overtaken by grass. Population in clearing between trees with open white sand. Numerous plants covering opening for a diameter of ca. 3.5 m. Tallest plants to 0.3 m, branching from ground level. "Listerine"-like fragrance to crushed leaves.
