    : United States: Florida: Miami-Dade County. Coconut Grove: The Kampong of the National Tropical Botanical Garden, 4013 S. Douglas Road. Cultivated about 70 feet in from main entrance gate, on right side of driveway (plot D-8). Tree 25 feet high grafted onto rootstock of Jacaranda mimosifolia D. Don. Corolla dusky purple; inside of corolla tube purple with darker purple lines running along its length.
