    : Mexico: Veracruz. 49 km east of airport on east side of Xalapa, ca 3.5 km west of western edge of Paso de Ovejas (on free road between Veracruz and Xalapa), 5 km west of bridge on east side of Paso de Ovejas Heavily grazed open field with scattered shrubs; with Serjania triquetra, Guazuma ulmifolia, Plumbago scandens, Byttneria aculeata, Bidens alba. Stems mostly creeping, tips laxly erect; rays whitish, disks yellowish. Lat. 1917'46.5"N Long. 9628'24"W Datum: NAD27.
