    : [United States]: Florida: Putnam County. Collected in field behind Mrs. Gladys Gordon's property, Herman Dr., Hawthorne, FL. Mesic woodlands. Quercus virginiana, Pinus elliottii and Prunus caroliniana present in overstory. Epiphyte. Ethnobotanical uses: whole plant boiled with Phoradendron serotinum ("mistletoe") into a tea and drunk for high blood pressure.
