    : United States: Florida: Polk County. Lake Wales Ridge State Forest: Arbuckle Tract. State burn unit: LA03 across from south end of GF14. Disturbed flatwoods; off road in low wetter areas. Shrub. 1 m tall. Rare. Flowers white and sprouting on wood of last season, smells like root beer or sweet wet honey; inner tepals with corregated base and maroon inner line; leaves with distinct pungent odor.
