    : United States: Florida: Alachua County. Kanapaha Botanical Gardens; northeast side of the garden; Spring Flower Garden; near the William Bartram Trail marker. Area shaded by tall oak trees. Next to a small trickle of water from a pond. Leaves nearly as long as the inflorescence. Flowers with light pink sepals terminated by a dark spiny tip; 3 blue tipped petals, purple-blue in the middle and white at the base. Lat. 29.61385N Long. 082.40631W Datum: WGS84. S21,T10S,R19E.
