    : United States: Florida: Alachua County. Kanapaha Botanical Gardens; The Azalea-Camellia Garden west of Summer House. Growing in filtered sunlight under tall trees. Plant ca. 1.4 meters tall. Leaves with petioles to 70 cm long; blades to 65 cm long X 45 cm wide with raised primary and secondary veins beneath. Fruit orange with a black apical spot. Peduncles to 53 cm long, elliptical in cross section, ooze clear sap when cut. Inflorescence with a pale green falcate upper spathe, green glaucous lower spathe; base of spadix dark green (pistillate) followed upward by a pale green area, a cream colored area (staminate) topped by a sterile pale yellow-green area.
