    : United States: Florida: Alachua County. Kanapaha Botanical Gardens; The Kanapaha Water Gardens; north side of the lower pond. Growing in shallow water, full sun; with Hydrocotyle ranunculoides. Leaves with erect petioles to 3 feet above the water surface; cut petioles and peduncles drip milky sap. Leaves gray-green and concave on top, greenish-white beneath. Flowers with many white pink tipped tepals; stamens with cream anthers, lower half of filaments cream, upper half yellow; receptacle cream with ca. 18 carpels. Lat. 29.61350N Long. 082.41085W Datum: WGS84. S21,T10S,R19E.
