    : Dominican Republic. Shrub 2ft tall, common, flowers white. In a severely cut-over maritime seasonal tropical evergreen forest of wind-shaped trees and shrubs over limestone, just above the beach. Growing with Bursera simarouba, Pithecellobium unguis-cati, Trichostigma octandrum, Atriplex pentandra, Achyranthes aspera, Morinda citrifolia, Colubrina arborescens, Cenchrus sp., Oplonia microphyllus, Rivina humilis, Commicarpus sulcatus, Lantana involucrata, and Cassytha filiformis. In an area called "Los Corales", between the airport and the Punta Cana Beach Resort. 1833'N, 6820'W. Punta Cana, La Altagracia Province.
