    : Dominican Republic. Shrub 3ft tall, flowers white. Common. Growing on limestone in an open, scrubby, disturbed, lightly-grazed, hurricane-damaged seasonal tropical evergreen forest. Growing with Rauvolfia nitida, Tournefortia volubilis, Passiflora suberosa, Randia parvifolia, Guaiacum sanctum, Chrysophyllum olivaeforme, Gouania lupuloides, Argythamnia candicans, Maclura tinctoria, Bourreria ovata, Simarouba berteroana, and Zamia pumila. Just N. of the Punta Cana Beach Resort, and just W. of the Biodiversity Laboratory. 1830.96'N, 6822.77'W. La Altagracia Province.
