    : United States: Florida: Dixie County. 29 47.9'N 82 56.1'W 1.1-1.3 miles west of Suwannee River on FL 340; on south side of road. Very thin roadside strip, at eastern end adjacent to overgrown sandhill remnant, now more like upland mixed forest at western end. Open, sandhill-like strip, with Agalinis, Liatris spp., Croptilon, Dicerandra densiflora, Zamia, Pityopsis graminifolia, Polygonella gracilis, Sorghastrum secundum, Carphephorus, Quercus laevis seedlings, Eriogonum. Erect, shrubby herb; mostly dull yellowish-green or brownish now.
