    : United States: Florida: Taylor County. 3011'57"N 8355'W ca 0.3 mile east of the Aucilla River (Jefferson County line), on north side of Goose Pasture Road; accessed ca 2 miles east of the Aucilla River on U.S. 98, then ca 4.8 miles north on Goose Pasture Road (which then veers to the west) and .7 mile west. Sandy pine plantations throughout the area, with mesic elements; with Viburnum obovatum, Prunus umbellata, Quercus spp. Locally common shrubs to small trees (100s seen in the area), usually ca 3-6 m tall; flowers pink (some whitish with pink tinge).
