United States: Florida: Suwannee County. 30° 12.8'N 83° 14.23' W Charles Spring Conservation Area; go south on 225th Road (just east of Dowling Park on C.R. 250) to 132nd Street, then ca 1 mile west to T-stop, cross over road to Christian Tract entrance. Just over .5 mile north and west on dirt access road, then ca .45 mile south, partly on dirt road and then through woods; ca .45 mile east of Suwannee River. Disturbed but fairly nice mesic woods. Epiphytic hemi-parasitic shrub; windblown branches on ground; seen on Celtis laevigata and Quercus laurifolia. Associates: Liquidambar, Ilex opaca, I. ambigua, Quercus nigra, Q. michauxii, Celtis, Carya, Carpinus.
