[...] Karstic coastal hydric hammock with Sabal palmetto, Juniperus virginiana, Quercus virginiana, Ilex vomitoria, Morus rubra, Styrax americana, Crataegus viridis, Melica mutica. Scattered in area in small depressional pools with Cladium jamaicense, Carex hyalinolepis, Iris hexagona, and Panicum spp. Sparsely branched slender shrubs 2-4 m tall; young fruits green.
