    : United States: Florida: Okaloosa County. Eglin Air Force Base. T1S R25W, S29 Navarre 7.5' Topographic Quadrangle. West of Prairie Creek and N. of Range A-78. Ca. 0.35 mi. W. of intersection of RR 676 and RR 259 and ca. 0.4 mi. N. of RR 676. Old growth Pinus palustris dominated sandhill community. Open subcanopy of Quercus laevis and Q. geminata. Ground cover diverse in numbers of species. Aristida beyrichiana abundant. Clonal shrub, ca. 1 ft. tall. Flowers present. Common.
