    : United States: North Carolina: Durham County. In New Hope Creek floodplain defined by intersection of Old Chapel Hill Rd. and Garrett Rd. Associated with Carya lacinosa, Asimina, elm, hackberry, sycamore, Quercus lyrata, etc. Staggly bush, 10 ft. tall X 1" trunk. Green and brown pods.
