    [Commentary ann.:] Bumelia. Re: FLAS 19215, 33556, 41581, 76443, 111925 & 123360. These six sheets have been removed from Bumelia lycioides, I think none of them are that species. Some and perhaps all are Bumelia lanuginosa. But I'm not now ready to so annotate them. Bumelia lycioides is probably only in the Panhandle, east, according to Kurz & Godfrey, to the shores of Lake Miccosukee in Jefferson Co. Its leaves are acute and veiny. It has prominent spurs and thorns. I'd judge the peduncles are somewhat more stout than some of these. Daniel B. Ward. 9 Feb. 1977.
