    : United States: Florida: Marion County. T15S; R23E; S8 Silver River State Park, east side of south entrance road. Active sandy horse pasture. Erect perennial 2 m tall; basal leaves evergreen, margins fray into coarse fibers; capsule many seeded, flat seeds black.
    Notes : [Label note:] Adam's needle; yucca; bear-grass.
    [Non-label note:] FLAS specimen consists of leaves only.
    [Label footing:] Voucher for study of flora of the Silver River State Park. Professional Enhancement Program Grant, Marion County School Board.
