    : United States: Florida: St. Lucie County. Savannas State Reserve. South edge of reserve parcel in middle of sand mine, just west of F.E.C. Railway tracks and south of Midway Road, about 5 miles south of central Ft. Pierce. Steep sand bank in disturbed scrub. Soil St. Lucie sand. With oaks, Vitis. Scrambling shrub with arching stems. Unripe fruits orange, ripe ones red. Infrequent. T36S, R40E, NW 1/4 Sec 1. 27 22' 30" N., 80 17' 43" W.
