    : United States: Florida: St. Johns County. T6S, R29E, S6; 13 miles N. of St. Augustine and 15 miles S. of Jacksonville Beach off SR A1A in Guana River State Park. South Beach Use Area, immediately west of A1A. Secondary dunes on crushed shell and sand substrate. Growing with Monarda punctata and Strophostyles helvola. Herb; ray flowers red with yellow tips.
