    : United States: Florida: St. Johns County. T6S, R29E, S39; 13 miles N. of St. Augustine and 15 miles S. of Jacksonville Beach off SR A1A in Guana River State Park. 1.4 miles W. of park gate at Guana River Dam and 50 ft E. of Tolomato River. Mesic hardwood hammock. Growing with Ilex vomitoria, Serenoa repens, and Magnolia grandiflora. Tree; approximately 6 m tall; fruits green. Numerous individuals.
