    : Guam. Merizo and vicinity, south end of island. Moist coastal plain, almost completely under cultivation, but weedy and with thickets and small mangrove swamps. Common along shore. Altitude 1-5 m. (estimated). Small tree 5 m. tall; flowers pale yellow, turning reddish.
    Notes : [Common name:] "banalo" or "kiluk"
    [Ethnobotanical note:] bark boiled down and used by women for lotion; wood used for house foundations; fruit used by children to make tops.
