Photo 2: Showing its swamp habitat [...] Such wet-ground trees as Acer rubrum, Fraxinus caroliniana, Nyssa sylvatica, Quercus nigra, Myrica cerifera, Taxodium ascendens and Liquidambar styracifloa are present.
