    : United States: Florida: Leon County. Pistillate. Evergreen much-branched tree of dense habit, spreading to strongly ascending branches; 15-20 ft. tall; lvs. lustrous green, stiff, pungent; fruit nearly globose, on short shoots along branches, purplish striped and glaucous. Maclay Gardens State Park, 5 mi. no. Tallahassee. About 40 large plants are growing in a field and others are found in the main garden.
