    : United States: Florida: Gulf County. Flowers yellow orange, shaded pink; frequent shrub; branches to 2 m. long, but grows nearly horizontal, due to wind (seedlings erect), in wet mucky debris, such as seaweed, on lower beach and along tidal sloughs, e. edge of highland view, 2 mi. n.w. of Port St. Joe.
