a person in a sweatshirt is standing behind a table covered in a variety of big shells on a deck with palm trees in the backgroundJohn Slapcinsky, Invertebrate Zoology (shells!) Collections Manager at the Florida Museum, will join us for a meet and greet, followed by a trail walk.

At 10 a.m., we will meet outside of the classroom, where John will share a bit about himself, his expertise in mollusks and other invertebrates, and his appreciation for southwest Florida estuarine ecology, and of course, Calusa history and archaeology! Afterward, we will explore the RRC. We encourage you to bring guests for this special event with a shell expert.

A donation to the RRC is encouraged ($7 adults, $5 seniors, $4 students and children), but tickets are not required.
