Join RRC staff members this summer at sunrise to explore Pineland’s ancient shell mounds, observe wildlife, and prepare for the day. Participants are invited to meet at 6:45 a.m. at the teaching pavilion for a 45-minute walk and quiet reflection. Registration is not required, but donations are encouraged.

Sunrise walks will be canceled in the event of heavy rain. Visitors should be prepared for occasional damp or muddy conditions and should bring water and insect repellent. A bottle filling station is available at the pavilion.

Requested donations for visitors to the Calusa Heritage Trail are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children. Members of the Friends of the RRC are admitted free. Income from donations and memberships makes it possible to maintain this important archaeological site.
