How to apply?
Please visit our internship page for instructions on how to apply and associated deadlines.

Are there opportunities for field work during the internships?
Interns may participate in a one week trip to the field in Panama during the UF Spring Break. There will also be opportunities for field work in Florida. Additional travel associated with specific research projects may be possible.

How will we find a place to live?
The internship coordinator and the UF Office of Off-Campus Housing will assist interns in finding lodging in Gainesville. Interns will be asked to find a roommate to share the cost of housing. Housing should cost no more than 1/3 of monthly income.

How do we receive our pay?
Interns will be paid hourly and will be expected to keep accurate records of work hours. Payment will be biweekly via direct deposit. As part of the internship, access to the UF/Gainesville bus system and UF library system will be covered.

How do I find the best research project for me?
Upon reviewing applications, we will match applicants with potential research projects based on their interests as described in the application.

Can I receive academic credit for my internship?
Yes, but it is your responsibility to arrange to receive credit with your university before arriving.

What are the important deadlines and dates?
Applicants should apply by July 1, 2015. Start date will be August 24, 2015.
