UF has updated its Account Management Policy. Unit assigned enterprise roles, permissions, and authorizations controlled by unit-level mechanisms must be removed within 24 hours of HR affiliation end-dates. Please keep in mind that HR affiliations apply to everyone with access to Museum IT resources, both paid and unpaid.

Museum students, postdocs, and interns frequently have gaps between appointments and HR affiliations, particularly during the summer. Additionally, Museum users often need access to Museum IT resources for more than 24 hours after their departure to complete work on projects and collaborations.

To comply with UF policy and prevent disruptive removal of access for Museum affiliates, supervisors of paid employees and sponsors of unpaid affiliates with IT access must provide Museum HR two weeks advance written notice of departures and transitions. If IT access is required for more than 24 hours after the end-date, please include a request in your notice.

With advance notice, Museum HR may grant a temporary HR affiliation, as appropriate, to allow continued IT access to Museum resources. Once granted, HR will forward the request to OMT for processing.
