Around this time each year, OMT sends out a report to each range in the Museum with information regarding the age of the computers in each department. To maintain a high level of support throughout the Museum, we aim to retire machines when they are more than 5 years old.

This year, we’re proud to introduce a new tool that allows everyone to see information about the age and status of their computers in real-time. Using OMT Inventory Explorer, you can see a full list of the computer in your department at any point throughout the year.

Each report identifies computers that should be considered for replacement in red and machines that should be approaching replacement in yellow.
