United States: Florida: Okaloosa County. Along Ray Cotton Road, near FL 4, on loose, sandy clay sand by sides of the road and in clearings of pine, near streams, on a ridge in the Western Highlands dominated by northern oaks Quercus marilandica and Q. falcata.
