These pictures were taken by local children during the Florida Museum’s virtual photography camps over the summer!

The Museum teamed up with county organizations, Woodland Park Boys & Girls Club, Girls Place, Inc., North Central Florida YMCA and I AM STEM Camp, to bring these camps to 81 children aged 8 to 12 in the month of July with all supplies being provided thanks to funding from the Children’s Trust of Alachua County.

Participants spent their time learning how to master the art of nature photography with interactive virtual programming, in which they were able to learn how cameras  work, techniques for getting a great shot and how to observe backyard biodiversity. This gallery is a product of all their hard work.
