Discovery Zone, Passion Vine Puzzle

Update on the passion vine our fabrication team is bringing to life – The leaves have really started to take shape and acquired some vibrant layers of color. The fuzzy looking anther, filament, style, and stigma (center parts) have been shaped and are starting to look like actual flower anatomy. And the corona filament, the curly antennae fringe around the center, is starting to look absolutely amazing.

Surprisingly, there aren’t a lot of YouTube videos about how to build life-like, over-size tropical flowers, so our fabrication team is challenged to stretch their skills and use their imaginations. As always, our ingenious team is exploring many materials and techniques to bring this passion vine to life, and having fun doing it!
