Congratulations to our 2014 winner!

This year the Florida Museum hosted its second ButterflyFest Facebook Photo Challenge! The challenge was designed to educate and promote awareness of wildlife and biodiversity through photography.

Photos had to include a depiction of wildlife and biodiversity together in a natural setting.

The first-place winner received a gift basket, including Museum merchandise and eight Butterfly Rainforest tickets.

The Florida Museum will display the winning photo through Dec. 1, 2014. This photo will also be included on the ButterflyFest website, and will be published in The Gainesville Sun on Saturday, Oct. 4.
