Get your toddler excited about science and natural history! Join Discovery Zone nature ambassadors for an exciting and interactive nature walk. Each program highlights an outdoor area and encourages exploration with a closer look at nature and Museum objects.

This program promotes sensory experiences, investigation and exploration with a focus on science. Each month we feature a different theme and each Tuesday we talk about a different topic in that theme.

What to expect

Age: Recommended for children ages 2-5 years old (child must be accompanied by an adult chaperone)

Tour: Discovery Zone exhibit and Nature Walk in UF’s Natural Area Teaching Laboratory

Location: Please arrive at 9 a.m. to check in. Meet at the Museum’s picnic tables outside and you will be escorted to the Discovery Zone exhibit.
