Dig into the past with us at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo! Enjoy special presentations from Museum paleontologists and check out real fossils at our interactive tables.  Learn about Florida’s most famous living fossils – alligators – as well as local dig sites and more at this family-friendly fossil fest.

At 11 a.m., Mitchell Riegler, one of our University of Florida graduate students, will be presenting on ‘Florida Alligators, Living Fossils‘ and at noon Jonathan Bloch, our Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology, will be giving a talk about the Montbrook Fossil Site and all of the discoveries being made at this nearby fossil dig.

Prehistoric Palooza
