Meet us at Marston! We’re bringing the Museum to you here on campus and would love to meet you. Spend a special afternoon learning about animals that are crepuscular, meaning they’re primarily active around dawn or dusk!
Lepidopterist Vaughn Shirey from the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity will share insights into the world of moths, their behaviors, and their ecological roles. Check out bat specimens from the Museum’s Mammalogy Collection and learn how these fascinating twilight mammals use their adaptations.
Stop by our table at the library to do FREE activities, meet your campus natural history museum, and learn about these interesting creatures. We’ll be outside the main entrance of the Marston Science Library.
Pop-up Museums
Find us out into the community at favorite spots around town while our public exhibits building is closed for the big expansion project. We’re bringing the Florida Museum to farmers markets, libraries and other local events around Alachua County. You never know where the next Pop-Up Museum or Pop-Up Gift Shop will surprise you.
Organizer
