Scientist in Every Florida School and the Frost Museum invite Miami-Dade middle and high school biology teachers to join us for a day of learning at Frost Science.

Our workshop “Adaptations, Evolution and Climate Change” will feature scientist spark talks, a horse evolution and climate change lesson, a tour of the new mammoth exhibit at the Frost, and discussion and exploration of comparative mammoth lessons for the classroom.

When: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 22, 2022
Where: Frost Science, 1101 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132
Who: Miami-Dade middle and high school biology teachers

Teachers must apply for limited space and will be provided a $150 stipend for their participation. In addition to completing the PD, we ask that teachers attend a 1-hour virtual webinar after the PD to share their experience with the lesson(s) in the classroom.
