TESI Communications Intern, Spring 2019 to Present

Felipe De La Guerra is a mass communications graduate student at the UF College of Journalism and Communications. At TESI, he writes stories for the Earth to Florida newsletter, produces and edits video content and writes for and anchors TESI’s Florida Research Roundup newscast. He has a background in social media marketing, visual storytelling, web development and public affairs communication. He likes telling stories about food and culture, the natural world, science and technology and how they intersect.

De La Guerra has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Miami and has previously served as an operations manager for an e-commerce startup, a web developer for UF’s student ad agency and communications manager for the Palm Beach County Chapter of the University of Miami Alumni Association.
