Description
Looking to share your knowledge and passion on the outdoors and Georgia’s wildlife? The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division is seeking college students, recent graduates, and others interested in environmental education to fill a seasonal naturalist position at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist with the development of educational programs in wildlife conservation.
- Assist with the implementation of off-site outreach programs, on-site student fieldtrips, and public programs for all ages.
- Support specialty programs such as the homeschool, other wildlife audiences and the Keeping GA WILD family festival.
- Develop social media content
Eligibility
Applicants must be self-motivated, conservation minded, interested in working with children, love the outdoors, and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with others.
Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently working toward or have earned a wildlife or education-related degree.

Begins January 16, 2025 and ends May 23, 2025
