Join American Forest Management for an enriching summer internship opportunity in the vibrant Michigan Region! We are seeking 2 dynamic individuals eager to explore the world of forestry alongside our seasoned professionals. As an intern at our locations in Ironwood & Houghton, Michigan, you’ll embark on a journey of growth and hands-on learning under the mentorship of our skilled foresters.

Our seasoned foresters are experts in the field and are here to train new foresters entering the industry. Our standards are high. What to Expect

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Forestry or Natural Resources
  • Passion for exploring a career in consulting forestry
  • Previous experience in forest inventory is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with GIS & GPS applications is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, managers, and contractors
  • Valid driver’s license
